Tonight we decided to escape the heat a little bit and head up into the mountains. It was a gorgeous night for it! We brought our fishing poles (mainly so the kids could play because it's not great fishing there unless you are in a float tube) and walked around the lake. We saw a lot of ducks and a lot of
squirrels. We had some chips leftover from our trip to Subway and the
squirrels came out of the woodwork to take some nibbles. It was GREAT entertainment!

Silver Lake is so pretty. I can't believe how friendly those squirrels are.
Ok..I need to get my kids up to the mountains! Summer if flying by. Great pics
Don't squirrels usually run away? Those are some seriously aggressive ones! :)
