Today is my little sister April's 27th birthday! We were able to go celebrate with lunch at The Olive Garden with her, her friend Diana, my mom, Shannon, and of course my 2 little munchkins. We had a great time talking and reminiscing. In honor of her birthday, here are my 10 favorite things about April:
1. She is EXTREMELY kind. She would give the shirt off her back for anyone.
2. She loves to have fun. She's not afraid to try new things and be adventurous.
3. She remembers dates like you wouldn't believe--especially birthdays. She never forgets a birthday.
4. She is so thoughtful. So often when I see her she has gotten something for me or my kids--"just because".
5. She is a wonderful aunt. My kids love her and she is so good with them.
6. She has such a loving, tender heart. I think us girls inherited this from our mother. ( :
7. She has a beautiful smile. Even if she's in a bad mood, it's easy to get her to smile.
8. She tells great stories--sometimes they are hard to follow (she can change subjects at the drop of a hat), but they are great, nonetheless.
9. She is fun to be around.
10. She is easy to love.
Up until Reagan and Cole were born, she was my "baby sister". I'll always think of her that way.
