Recently, I made a (possibly crazy) decision to avoid sugar. Not all sugar, but things like candy, cakes, cookies, and foods with high amounts of sugar. Ever since I was pregnant with Anistyn, I developed this overwhelming craving for sugar. Once I start, it's hard to stop. After reading Jillian Michaels' book "Master Your Metabolism", I was shocked at the horrible chemicals that go into our food and damage our bodies. Our family has gone mostly organic and we stay away from almost all processed foods. It was so hard at first, but it's getting easier as we learn more and more about this lifestyle change. Which leads me to my latest quest--staying away from sweets. If I had some self control where sugar is concerned, eating it in moderation would be just fine. However, I do not. So......here I go! I am on day 6 and it gets a little easier every day. I figured the more I make it known, the less likely I am to slip up. So, I will try to avoid this aisle in the store as long as I can:

I have heard quite a few people recently doing this diet. I think I might need to try it out myself! I have a terrible sweet tooth! Good luck yourself! I think I will read that book. It sounds really interesting.
