Seasonal frustration

This morning as Anistyn and I came downstairs to start the day, she looked out the window, saw the fresh snow, and said "Oh man! It's not Easter AGAIN!" She is SO excited for Easter because she knows that means it's springtime which brings warmer weather. It also means that we get to go to Arizona to see her favorite cousin, Clara and swim in their pool. So, I'm sure the snow this morning dashed her hopes and dreams of that happening anytime soon. Too bad she's too young to understand that living in Utah means that it could snow today and be 65 degrees tomorrow.

I should have taken a picture of my tulips blooming, but here they are now, dying a slow death.

I love when the snow is so heavy that it clumps up on the trees!

A view of the mountains from our kitchen window. So pretty!

Ahhh...springtime in Utah. Today I think the new snow is beautiful, but I'm sure tomorrow I'll feel just like Anistyn!

I actually wasn't too bugged by the snow like I thought I would be! It was so pretty outside today.

I love the fresh now on a sunny day.. so pretty. Its snow on a dark and dreary day that I hate. Thats a pretty picture of all the trees with the fresh snow on them.

Hey Rachel! SO, Donny and Samantha should be there by now. Hope you all have fun. Sorry I couldn't make it.... Feel like I could pop any time now! Want to know what is funny??? I just re-did the background to my blog a few hours ago and just now going to your blog..... I picked the very same background as what you have on here now. Isn't that weird?? We must have good taste! Anyway- We got some snow earlier today too. The flakes were so big that it looked like fake snow from Hollywood or something. But, now, the sun is out and the roads and trees no longer have snow on them. Just a little snow on the ground where the sun doesn't get to. Crazy weather. Well, Have fun! Chat later!
