It's a good thing.....

It's a good thing that Heavenly Father pretty much guarantees that kids will do at least one cute thing in the course of day to make up for the 1,000 not so cute things they do. Today was the perfect example. After I finished loading the washer (hence the no sheets on the bed in the above picture), I wandered the house to find Stockton. Finally, I found him in his big sister's room (he likes to hang out in there while she's at school since she's not there to protest). He was on her bed, under the covers, with her sunglasses on, just relaxing. It made be burst out in laughter. And it's a good thing. It made up for the 25 tantrums, the slaps and hits he gave me every time I told him no, the fingernail polish on his shirt and lips, and let's not forget the throwing of the sippy cup full of milk which cracked open and splattered all over my newly cleaned floors and walls. It's a good thing......

It's funny how unevenly those things add together, eh? Five minutes of happiness and giggles can put me through a few hours or more of screaming. Not that I'm encouraging it.... :)

I love that he hangs out in her room while she's gone! Classic! They sure know how to make up for all the crazy with just a little bit of cute. :)

Uh oh - better hide the evidence before Anistyn finds out her bed, her room and her shades were taken over. Too cute!
