A few weeks before school was out for the year, Anistyn's school had a Teacher Appreciation week. They did all sorts of fun things all week long. On one of the days each class washed their teacher's car. I was able to go help with this and had so much fun watching them! Their cute teacher, Mrs. Erickson, got to kick back in a lawn chair and relax with a drink while her students washed away. They had such a great time and did a great job! On another day, each student brought a flower from their garden (our tulips hadn't bloomed yet, so a big "thank you" to my friend Leann for parting with 2 of hers) and they created a beautiful bouquet of flowers. They also had Hawaiian dancers come and teach the luau and everyone dressed up in their Hawaiian outfits. Our PTA is so creative and the kids had a blast!
We are so grateful for Mrs. Erickson and the wonderful teacher she was to Anistyn!
