Annie's first soccer season

After Anistyn decided she had enough of Gymnastics, she thought she would try soccer for awhile.  So, we signed her up for Spring soccer.  Needless to say, I didn't exactly consider just how long it stays cold in Utah.  We only had 2 games where it wasn't so freezing that we had to bundle up in coats, hats, and blankets.  She seemed to enjoy it, but I could tell she had a much better time as soon as the weather warmed up a little bit.  I know I wouldn't want to be kicking a ball up and down a field for 45 minutes in 40 degree weather!  So, lesson learned.  Next time one of our kids wants to play soccer, we are definitely opting for FALL soccer!  However, Anistyn thought all of it was worth it just to get her cute soccer trophy.  She displays it proudly in her room and shows it to all of her visitors.  Now she's wondering which other sports offer trophys.......???
