Race for a Cure

Last Saturday I participated in The Race for a Cure (5K run) for the 2nd year. Last year was my first time and I enjoyed it so much that I thought I would make it a yearly event. It is for such a great cause. All proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen foundation to find a cure for breast cancer. My grandma Joyce is a breast cancer survivor and I have a few friends who have lost mothers to breast cancer. I think everyone knows someone that has been effected by breast cancer.

This year I was able to run with my friends Sherry and Jenn. (Sherry is in my ward and Jenn used to be in the ward). We had so much fun! Above is a horrible double-chinned self portrait, but it's proof we were there. It was a great morning and I already can't wait for next year!
