Going "green"...or maybe not....

Tonight as I was putting Anistyn to bed she was playing with one of her birthday cards. She said "Mommy, I don't want to recycle this card!" I kind of laughed (I had no idea she knew what recycling was) and asked her why she thought she had to recycle it. She turned the card over to the back and showed me the recycle symbol. She said "I drew an X across the recycle symbol because I don't want to". I asked her where she learned about recycling. It was no surprise to me when she told me it was from Curious George--the same curious little monkey that taught her how to make compost!
