So, here's putting it mildly--neither Kevin or I inherited the green thumb that our parents possess! This is our 4th spring living in this house. Each year we have tried to improve the yard, buying new perennials, making new planters, etc. However, everything seems to die on us, resulting in our frustration and LOTS of money down the drain...or in the garbage where the dead plants end up. So, this year we decided to bypass the frustration and wasted money and hire a professional landscaper. We have a friend that knows all of the good landscapers, so he gave us a name of the only person he would trust to do his own yard (and that says a lot!). They came out, gave us a plan, and a couple of weeks later we now have a new and improved yard with 2 new trees and 47 new perennials plants/flowers, a rock retaining wall in the backyard, weed barrier (yay for no weeding!) and cobblestone in all 5 gardens. Oh, and let's not forget the new drip system in the 2 front gardens to water each perennial separately! We absolutely love it and can't wait for everything to grow and bloom.
