Unfortunately, all good things come to an end--including our trip to AZ. I do have to brag about my kids though--they have become the BEST travelers. A total of 24 hours in the car this past weekend (not including back and forth trips between Sherry's & Kim's) and NO crying! Nope--not once! It made our trip that much better. The weather was so beautiful on our way home that we had to take advantage. We stopped in the Glenn Canyon Dam area and did a little hiking. Both kids found caterpillars (even though we were on the lookout for lizards). Anistyn brought hers home with her, but Stockton's only lasted until just before we got back to the car where he decided to squish it (pure boy!). Thanks to everyone involved for making our trip so much fun! We made lots of new, good memories and laughed a lot. Can't wait until next time!

Glad you guys had a good time! Seriously, you hear the nightmare road trip stories... so glad you have experienced any of those ... lately atleast. :)
Glad you are home safe and sound. We've got to get together now that you are back :)
ps - boy, when you post, YOU POST!!!! I love it!
Sounds like a great trip! It's a true blessing to not have your kids cry for even a little while! How did you do it?
how fun that you were in az! i wish i would have known...i could have conveniently placed myself at one of the places you took your kids!
did you go to the falcon field airplane museam? or is there another one? falcon feild is less than a mile from my house.
also that train park you spoke of is one of my favorite places to go and take the kids. it's not very close to my house, but we make it out there as much as we can...and in fact, were there just on thursday.
looks like you guys had a great easter...sorry it rained on you. you're right...it doesn't rain very often here unless you come during the monsoon season (august/sept).
no crying?! you are so lucky, andrea and i took a little trip south about two hours and the drive home was horrendous ha
