Thanks to endless hours of studying and flying....I now have an instrument-rated pilot husband! Today Kevin passed his instrument rating check ride (the practical test, for those of you who don't use pilot talk like we now do). He said he was REALLY nervous (even sweating), but he did great. This is the rating that he is told is the hardest for all pilots to get, so it's quite the achievement. Great job, hon! I love you and I'm so proud of you and how hard you've worked.

It's true...it's one of the most difficult you'll have to do...until you prep for the ATP test. I had forgotten that Kevin was flying. Next time Taylor and I make it to SLC at the same time (rare occasion) we'll have to get together and let them pilot-speak.
