Why did I get out of bed this morning???

So, Anistyn has been naughty since the moment she woke up this morning, which isn't like her. She is usually pretty good and obedient. Well, after my workout I told her I was going upstairs to shower and to be nice to her brother (who is also not himself today due to a stomach bug). After my shower I saw her playing in the backyard with the dogs, so I thought I'd finish getting ready. Well, after I finished drying my hair I get a call from one of my friends in the ward who has a daughter that Anistyn is good friends with. She said "I have Anistyn." All I could think to say is "What!?!?" They live about 2 blocks away from us. She said Anistyn had come to the door (with my sister's dog in tow) and said "My mom is taking a shower and she told me to take the dogs for a walk." So, now she has also learned to lie???? She had gotten herself dressed (in dirty clothes from her hamper) and done her own hair in pigtails. I swear I just blinked and my little girl had grown up bigger than I wanted her to be. Last night when I put her to bed she was my sweet, little, obedient girl. So, once again I ask the question...Why did I get out of bed this morning????
Side note: Yes, Dad, I know....I got one just like me. I used to sneak out of my window in the middle of the night when I was 3 years old and go knock on neighbors doors and ask for something to eat. Getting what I deserve, perhaps? ( :

Oh my. Looks like Dallin was a bad influence on your sweet girl. That is so funny.. and scary all at the same time. I am so sorry. Dallin used to wander a lot.

That is a great story. Why do kids have to grow up and lose thier inocense!? Good thing she's a cutie. Good luck!

What is it with them? Reagan has been pushing my buttons for days now. I'm like "where did you come from?" Then, she runs to time out - la dee da :) Uggh! Just hang in there - or send for reinforcements (Kev - get right on that!)

And I quote: "I thought about it for a minute and then did what any responsible, dignified adult would do. I got back in bed and pulled the covers over my head." Elder Jeffrey R. Holland.

There must be something in the air of our neighborhood. My kids are being naughty today too. That is so funny that she came up with that story all on her own.

I can't believe you snuck out of your window when you were three.
