Halloween kickoff!

It seems like every year, there are more and more activities leading up to Halloween. This year is no exception. However, I have enjoyed the Halloween season much more this year, now that my kids are a little older and are so excited they can barely stand it. Last night was our ward trunk-or-treat. Yes, it's supposed to be a safe alternative to trick-or-treating, but our ward just uses it as an additional way for the kids to get more candy! ( : Oh well, we always have a great time.

This is one of my young women, Alexus (on the right) and her friend Monique. They made their own costumes without a pattern! Nice work girls!!!

Anistyn has been learning all about Fall at school, so when she discovered that our new tree was changing colors, she was so excited!

We have a few more Halloween activities before next Friday, so there will be more pictures to come!!!

Looks like fun! We have also been busy with all the Halloween hoopla! It is so fun as the kids get older and really enjoy it!

This year we've got the "harvest festival" on Tuesday, the school party on Thursday and the trunk or treat on Friday. Seriously? Do we need all three. In one week? The worst part? Dylan is allergic to peanuts, so I am OBLIGATED to eat all of his peanut related candy. Sheesh! ;)
