Kevin's birthday weekend

So, I'm a day late wishing my wonderful husband a happy birthday, but it's only because we've been partying all weekend! The festivities began Friday night. Shannon & Matt were so wonderful to come over and stay with our kids. We met our friends Jason & Sherion downtown and we both stayed at the Hilton. We went to dinner at the Blue Iguana, then headed to the Gateway where we had ice cream, followed by a movie. After the movie we went back to the hotel where we just hung out and talked until we were all pretty tired. In the morning Kevin and I spent a little time at the gym before heading over to Little America for the best breakfast buffet ever! (Seriously, if you've never tried it you are missing out!) After breakfast we said goodbye to our friends and headed to the airport. We flew to St. George for the day (again, with NO kids!!! --thanks to Kevin's parents) When we landed my grandpa picked us up and we headed to Red Robin for lunch. After lunch we went to the park to enjoy the warm weather. Kevin flew his RC plane while I took a nap (ahhhhh!). Before the sun set we took off for home. Oh, did I mention after putting the kids to bed we got Cafe Rio take out to cap off our perfect day? Tonight we had all of our family over to celebrate. We had dinner and, of course, cake and ice cream. We all had a great time. Thanks to everyone who helped Kevin have a great birthday. He said it was "one for the books". Well, it was, but he deserves every bit of it. He is the most WONDERFUL husband to me and AMAZING father to our children. I am proud to be his wife and I love him more than words can say.
