I definitely don't blog enough about how awesome my friends are. I consider my awesome friends as one of the biggest blessings in my life. I know I was being watched over during a crucial period of my life when I was given the BEST group of friends to get me through junior high and high school. At 12 years old, my mom remarried and we moved to West Jordan. It was a really hard time for me. I started junior high school in a new area with no friends. Adjusting to my new life was super hard. Fortunately for me, I was given the best friends a girl could ask for. They kept me on the straight and narrow and helped me to forget about the other parts of my life that were hard for me to adjust to at the time. We had SO much fun during those 6 years together. And we continue to have fun now--even though we all lead full and busy lives--we still get together a couple of times a year to catch up. Above is a picture of some of those friends. The last 2 years we have planned a girls trip downtown to stay overnight and just have fun together. No kids (except babies), no husbands. Just us girls. This one overnighter always reminds me of how blessed I am to have such great friends. I love them all!
