Yep, I am WAY behind on my blog! I considered quitting blogging entirely because I got so behind, but I had a few *subtle* reminders from friends that follow my blog to update. So, here I go. I may skip some stuff, but at least you'll know we're still alive!

Blogging about the 4th of July in January seems strange to me. Seeing us in shorts, t-shirts and flip flops and the green grass makes me long for summer. I'm not a fan of January--it's my least favorite month of the year. So maybe blogging about summer will be therapeutic??

The 4th of July is big in Kevin's family. It's his Grandpa Allen's birthday and most of his family comes into town, so we LOVE it. It's a day full of family, parades, water fights and fire works. What's not to like??
