That's right...I'm FINALLY blogging about Thanksgiving! So, be prepared for lots of updates.
We had a great time in St. George for Thanksgiving. The weather put a damper in our travel plans and we didn't leave until later in the day on Thanksgiving. Since everyone arrived later than planned, we actually celebrated a day late, which was totally fine. We stayed with my Grams and Miles. The kids LOVE staying there and have a special bond with their great-grandma Sara. It makes me so happy that my kids are getting to the ages where they will actually remember their great-grandparents. I only remember one of mine, and I wish I could have known them better.
The weather was pretty cold for St. George, but still warmer than home. We spent some time at the park, played at Grams' house, and even made a visit to Santa at the mall. Anistyn says she knows when it is the "real" Santa or just another "helper", so she chose to sit this one out. Stockton on the other hand is not picky about his Santas, so he was quite excited. At the end of our visit we had a visit from Ralph who made the 2 hour drive from Las Vegas to see us for a few hours. It was great spending some time with Grandpa Ralph! The day before we were supposed to leave, we heard there was another big storm on its way, so we decided to head home a day early in order to miss it. However, that happened to be the day of the Utah-BYU game, so we didn't leave until we watched our Utes pull out a last second win. Go Utes! It was another awesome Thanksgiving in St. George! We were so blessed to be able to go and LOVE our time there!

That looks like a pretty good Santa to me... what exactly were Anistyn's objections? Glad you had a safe trip.
