Pre-Christmas activities

Once again, we had another busy Christmas season. We started things off with our Ward Christmas party, where Anistyn had the opportunity to play Mary as the primary kids sang. She was excited that her friend Will was playing Joseph. She was the perfect Mary and it was so cute! Stockton had fun onstage singing (and dancing). That kid loves to perform! We had our friends the Milams in town, so it was fun having them with us. Anistyn said she thought the Santa that came was the real one, so she thought it was worth her time to make her Christmas wish list known.
The next week we had my Mom's annual Christmas party with my step-siblings, who we only get to see about once a year. The kids have so much fun playing together and the adults have fun catching up. My step-dad Kevin pulled out the guitar and we sang songs together, which is always fun. Such a fun time!
The day before Christmas break began for Anistyn, I was able to go help her class build Gingerbread houses. I love being in her class and seeing her interact with her friends. I had a blast!
And, once again we had our annual Grandma Norris Christmas party. We LOVE this party and always have so much fun. Kevin's cousin Sandy puts together our program each year and it is so cute. She has costumes for all of the kids and they act out the story of the birth of Christ. Anistyn was able to be the angel again this year, since we don't have any more little girls in the family that can recite the parts yet. As always, so much fun! And now...on to Christmas!

Definitely a more "authentic" Santa. Good eye Annie!!! What a cute Mary!
