You're good!

Yesterday Anistyn and Stockton were watching "Super Why" together. For those of you who are in the dark, it's a show on PBS about super heroes learning to read. It's cute and the kids love it. During each show they teach letters, their sounds, and how to put them together to make words. At one point in the show the super hero asked "What letter is this (showing the lowercase letter d)"? Anistyn yelled out "b!" and Stockton yelled out "d!". (Anistyn has always gotten her lowercase d and b mixed up. After volunteering in her Kindergarten class I realized this is a common problem. Stockton is OBSESSED with letters. He knows all of them--lower and uppercase). Then the super hero tells them that it is in fact the letter d. Anistyn looks over at Stockton in amazement and says, "Whoa! You're good!" Good to see she's giving credit where credit is due.

We love Super Why. Don't watch it much during the school year (too distracting to those who are well past learning their ABC's) but we love it all the same. I think it gives Super Zach his "Super Fried Chicken" Powers.
