For Memorial Day, we started off the day by taking a hike up to Bell Canyon Reservoir. It was a little longer/hotter than I had thought it would be, but it really was beautiful. We saw lots of butterflies, bugs, and even some deer and a snake! Anistyn was quite the fisher, impressing everyone with her amazing casting skills! After our hike, we headed home to get cleaned up for the Allen Family BBQ. First, we made a stop at Grandpa's grave. It was the first time we had seen his headstone since it was placed in March. It was beautiful. Despite having to leave the BBQ early due to a sick little boy, we still had a great day!

It was so fun to see Punky casting her fishing rod... I seriously could not believe how far she could cast that thing... for sure beats what I could do. She is soo dang cute!
