Last night Kevin got mad ("Kevin mad" is not really that mad) at Anistyn because she was doing the selective hearing thing and had to be asked 3 or more times to do something. He finally told her to go upstairs and get in the bathtub and get ready for bed. I went upstairs and got both kids bathed and in bed while he was working with HP on trying to figure out our printer (don't ever buy an HP). He felt bad the whole night that he didn't get to say "goodnight" to her. Of course, those of you with kids know that they don't often hold a grudge and forget what happened by the next morning. That didn't matter to Kevin. He stayed home from work this morning just to spend time with her before she had to go to school. He played with her, made her pancakes, and took her to the park. I LOVE the relationship that the two of them have. They have been like two peas in a pod since he first laid eyes on her. She will do anything to make Kevin happy and proud of her. She is daddy's little girl and he is the BEST daddy in the world!
