A couple of weeks ago I was able to participate in the Race for the Cure downtown. I ran the 5k and had so much fun! It was my first 5k. I'm not a runner by any means, so I was excited that I was able to finish and run the whole time. About half way through my friend Carly found me, so it was so fun to finish the race with her. I don't have any pics because I didn't want to run with my camera, so I stole this one off a news website. There were more than 18,000 participants. I had never participated before this year, so I had no idea what a HUGE event it is! The feeling downtown was amazing and it was for such a good cause. Can't wait to do it again next year!
