And she didn't even freak out.......

A few months ago, Anistyn asked me when she could get her ears pierced. I talked to Kevin about it and we decided to not set an age limit on it, but to have her earn it. So, we stopped by the mall to get a quote on how much it would cost and then talked about what she had to do to earn her allowance each week. Each week we would get online and transfer the money she earned into her account. She loved watching the numbers grow each week! At first she wanted to save enough to get her ears pierced AND get a pretzel when she was done (her favorite thing at the mall), but yesterday when I told her she had enough to get her ears pierced, but not enough for a pretzel, she decided she could do without the pretzel. So, we headed to the mall as a family. When we were on our way out, I told Stockton that we were going to get Annie's ears pierced. He said, "Ah oh, she is going to freak out!" He must not have much faith in his sister, because she did AWESOME! She didn't even flinch. No tears, no whining--only smiles. She loves to stop by every mirror and see them sparkle. She looks so cute!
Here is a video of the 2nd ear...the first one is too long to post.

That is so cute! Wow she is a trooper! I used to work at Limited Too and we had to pierce ears, I hated it. Then again I NEVER had someone as calm as she was.

Such a great story! I am glad to see another person wait until they asked to get their ears pierced, I thought I was the only one not to pierce a baby!
