10 years!!!

Today is our 10 year anniversary! I still can't believe it's been that long! What a GREAT 10 years it's been. I never dreamed I would have such a wonderful husband. Growing up I knew what kind of man I wanted to marry, but I never dreamed that I would get all I ever wanted and much, much more. In honor of our 10 years together, here are the 10 things I love most about my wonderful husband:

1. He has NEVER raised his voice to me. He made me that promise while we were engaged and he has always kept it.

2. He is such a positive person. I, on occasion, tend to be a little pessimistic. Kevin always focuses on the positive.

3. He is such a hard worker. You will NEVER find Kevin sitting in front of the TV doing nothing. (Even while watching a Jazz game he is working on something!) He is always on the move. And he does whatever it takes to provide well for our family.

4. He is an AMAZING father. My kids absolutely adore him. He ALWAYS puts them first and includes them in everything he does. Even if he's out mowing the lawn he finds something for them to do outside with him.

5. He respects me so much. He never talks down to me and if other husbands belittle their wives he calls them on it.

6. He honors his priesthood. How grateful I am that I have a husband who is always worthy to give me , our kids, or anyone else a blessing if needed.

7. He is honest. You'll never catch Kevin in a lie (unless he's trying to keep a secret for a surprise!)

8. He has integrity. He is such a good person. You can trust him with your life. He is a man of his word.

9. He serves others. If we are in the car and we drive by someone that needs help, he will always stop if he doesn't see anyone else there to help. Wherever we go, he stops to help someone do something, even if it's just to hold open a door.

10. Last, but not least---he LOVES me! This is not always an easy thing to do. I can be a very difficult person to live with. He loves me for me. He accepts my quirks and doesn't try to change them. I am a better person because of him.

I love you Kev! I look forward to many more decades together!
